Luxurious, dramatic, opulent and ornate. Our Peter Pan inspired bedroom blend's traditional Victorian and Edwardian furniture styles with brightly coloured vintage textiles to create a unique warm and inviting room. In our Pan bedroom we have hung an iron and crystal chandelier giving the room an opulent flood of bright light, while a classic mahogany chest of drawers with gold outlines typifies the overly ornate decoration of the Victorian period. We have filled the top of the chest with collectable objects: antique padlocks and glass bottles, a heavy brass chewing tobacco box and a small Georgian travel trunk.
Not wanting to add more rich dark colours to the brass framed bed we have added layers of luxurious vintage kantha bedcovers, each cover is meticulously handmade from layers of different fabric sewn together with rows of cross stitches and vintage Banjara cushions with bold geometrical shapes and patterns from India to create a whimsical Neverland style bed.
A chunky wooden candlestick with a church candle adds a touch of gothic charm to the room.
Lastly, we have added a classic domed wooden travel trunk to the end of bed to give the bedroom a definite feeling of travel and intrepid exploring. What room inspired by pirates could be without a an antique pirate's chest?
